In the process of manufacturing hot zone for sapphire growth furnace, we improve and optimize the radius of annular heater, upper radiant heat shield and thickness of bottom thermal insulation.
After the improvement, it has better performance. The temperature gradient, thermal stress as well as the power consumption of heater in hot zone will be greatly reduced and the rate of finished products promoted. Our company can produce sapphire growth furnaces according to customers' drawing.

Application
1. Sapphire crystal outgrow from hot zone for sapphire growth furnace has been widely used in infrared military equipment, satellite space technology and window material of high strength laser;
2. Also it gradually becomes practical applications of ideal substrate materials for GaN-based semiconductor light emitting diode (LED).

Methods of Manufacturing Hot Zone for Sapphire Growth Furnace
Getting the sapphire melt can be conducted in accordance with several methods, such as czochralski method, reverse mold method, Bridgman method, Kyropoulos method, etc. Among these methods, Kyropoulos method is the most commonly used method for growing large size sapphire. In this process, crystal gradually grows in melt without being pulled out of the crucible only when it almost touches the crucible wall. The temperature difference inside crystal is small. Therefore, it can effectively reduce the residual stress and dislocation density as well as prevent crystal craze. Tungsten and molybdenum products are key components for sapphire growth furnace. We can make hot zones for various methods.
