1. Molybdenum swaging rod is widely using in fabricating heating elements, fasteners and structural components for high temperature HIP, vacuum and hydrogen atmosphere furnaces.
2. It is also of value in the lighting, electronics and semiconductor industries.
3. The molybdenum swaging rod can be applied in lamp supports, power tube components and silicon rectifier mounts.
4. The potassium doped and the lanthanide doped swaged molybdenum rods are targeted for using in higher temperature applications. After being recrystallized, the ductility of the rod is retained well with smaller cross sections.
